Stage 1 |
Having changed edges, try not to turn your feet too quickly... WAIT!
Stage 2 |
Feel for the instep/heel of your outer ski/foot, is there an edge to press against?
Stage 3 |
If you push and your foot/ski moves sideways, then you need to tilt the ski a little more onto its edge, so you have a platform to push against.
Stage 4 |
Start pushing against this edge through the foot (instep/heel). Allow the other leg, inside leg, to bend underneath you.
Stage 5 |
Keep over that outer foot and direct the ski where you want to go until
you want to change direction gain.
Stage 6 |
Maintain the curve - Don't let go of the outer ski pressure until you are ready to change direction and edges again.
